About Margret Lee
我讀過天主教女子高校，也接受過中西傳統繪畫的訓練，後來選擇了商業設計學院就讀，並陸續從事包括服裝、網路以及商品行銷等設計工作，像是一個由傳統與現代、古典與新潮、規約與解放共構出來的人。一路走來，衝突與困惑不斷，也積累了一些經驗與想法，於是，我成了自由創作者。
I have studied in a Catholic school and have learnt both eastern and western drawing and sketching professionally.
I went on to choose a business school and have mastered business skills from marketing, clothing design to commercial internet designs.
I have walked through the past and the present thoughts and have struggled from the conflicts between my own free will and traditional values. After stretching myself from critics and my lust for freedom, I decided to be a freelancer.
我喜歡閱讀，陷入式的閱讀，喪失自我主體的閱讀，並且放任那些深埋的文字種子在爾後的任何時刻迸發出來－－
在乍醒回味的夢裏、在心神放空的眼框裏，在大量幻化的咖啡泡沫裏，然後，找一個獨處的下午，一口氣把它們全畫下來。
I like to read and lose myself in the story as if I have lost my conscious in reality.
I love to lose track of these thoughts and inspirations after I have finished reading.
I would isolate myself in a quiet corner and have those inspirations burst out all at once
then I would put the thoughts in my drawing relentlessly.
對我而言，創作無疑是思緒的自我釋放，其來有自卻又獨立奔放。如果你已知曉了我某件作品的故事，卻還有全然不同的說法，那是絕對可能的事；而如果我們有著不約而同的想像，我也會很高興，遇到了知音。
To draw is an essential part of me, it is a way to release myself from the normality in reality,
it has fundamentals to relate to yet free without boundaries.
If you have come a crossed my work and have a totally thoughts toward them then that is absolutely expected and welcome.

About My Work
長久以來，我始終是視覺的動物，大的、小的、美的、醜的、快樂的、悲傷的，那些生活中可見與可想見的形形色色，總會勾起我不住盤繞的目光。
A long period of time, I am always the visual animal,
Whether the beauty, repulsiveness, happiness and sorrow in a big way or not…
It never takes my eyes off a great variety and diversity.
在我的創作中有很深的生活元素有時是我看的一本書、有時是我的發呆，有時是我的愛人我任性捕捉、細心收藏，還要重新組構出一個有背景音樂的視覺系樂園，你們會喜歡嗎? 是的，因為你們也在生活著。
There is life in my creations.
Sometimes it’s a book I read, it’s my daydreamer and my lover.
I catch them in a wayward mood, and collect them carefully.
But also reorganize to construct the Visual Paradise with the background music,
Will you enjoy this? Yes, because you are living too.
